PSIS Semarang was not accompanied by coach Ian Andrew Gillan when facing Bhayangkara FC in the postponed match of League 1 2022/2023, Monday (09/01/23) afternoon. The Mahesa Jenar team hopes to win the Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang.
The PSIS match against Bhayangkara FC is the 11th postponed match. The match was canceled on October 2 due to the Kanjuruhan Tragedy the day before.
The postponed match which was just held after the New Year meant that two teams would appear without several pillars. PSIS was not escorted by a British-born defender, Alie Sesay, who was rumored to have left.
Apart from Alie Sesay, PSIS is also without a head coach, Ian Andrew Gillan. In the press conference before the match, Ian Andrew announced that PSIS was still in Scotland.
Meanwhile, Bhayangkara FC is also without Youssef Ezzejjari. The Spanish striker has been officially announced as part of the Thai League 1 club, Khon Kaen United FC.
